Tobey's Spiderman was too much of a bitch. Andrew's actually joked around like Spidy is supposed to.
Plus Andrew Garfield is way more attractive than Tobey Maguire.
I wanted to fall asleep watching the old Spidermans, but I loved the new one. Something about Tobey Maguire always leaves me bored out of my mind. Andrew had more character and was enjoyable to watch.
if they even bother to go see it, they will see how perfectly nerdy and awkward Andrew portrayed Peter, especially in the scenes with Gwen :) Tobey looked more of the part, I must say, but Andrew had the Peter Parker persona down to a tee
Well I haven't seen the new one yet but from the ads, Maguire appears to be the better Spidey. He's just what I'd picture for Spiderman. He plays that dorky, scrawny, never would imagine could kick some ass Peter Parker well. He's the nerd that became a secret tough guy. Andew Garfield just doesn't appear dorky enough.
Andrew is the epitome of nerdiness and awkwardness in the new movie. lol It's great. He and Emma Stone have great on screen chemistry and that ending, wow. :)
Andrew all the way. He was AMAZING and brought the original comic character to the big screen. (goofy, a bit awkward, genius, brave) Haters gonna hate though; he was SOO good. I hope people saw the new movie before dogging on him. He is a breath of fresh air. :)
Tobey Maguire is a lot more convincing as the nerdy Peter Parker than Andrew Garfield is. Tobey Maguire is able to play both Spiderman and Peter Parker extremely well, and for that reason he is the far superior choice. I just can't buy Andrew Garfield as a kid who would've been picked on at school.
I haven't seen The Amazing Spiderman yet but from what little I can gather by seeing the previews, commercials and pictures and things, I think I still like Tobey better. Garfield just seems too skinny and goofy looking to me. I wasn't too impressed with anything I saw. Didn't make me want to rush right out and see the movie. Mcguire was great! I still don't understand why someone else had to take over the part. :(
I'll always root for him because he's the original. I was biased towards The Amazing Spider-Man, even though when I watched it I enjoyed it, but I still think Tobey Maguire will always be the better S-M.
