I pay for the ticket, I get to choose which cabin I ride in, where I go, and what time the journey starts and ends. If the life choices we make didn't matter, life might not mean as much either. I don't understand those who are just along for the ride, and prefer that others buy the ticket and make critical choices. I have my own set of goals, purpose and dreams. They're not negotiable for the price of a free ride - not to anywhere at all.

You're running into the problem where you're defining things as someone's decision when they're not necessarily things that actually are.

If it is a fault , I have no one to blame , I don't regret it . But if I have let someone to decide for me & if it was a fault , I blame her/him/them & regret about it all the time that I did not decide myself .

    I know me ... intimately.

I don't even make decisions for my kids anymore. A proper legacy to children is to ensure they can make their own intelligent decisions.

That being said... In a restaurant... I'm the most indecisive flake you've ever seen!
