In almost every way,,,my question is, what left-hander isn't ambidextrious? When your left-handed, you use the entire back of your brain (no, left-handers, even though you think it, you don't use your right minds, lol).
I can do a lot with both hands, especially tools. Hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches etc. When I was in grade school (Catholic naturally) the nuns made me learn to write with my right hand. Now if I write with my left hand it looks like it did when I was in third grade.
I shoot a gun with my left hand better than my right, but can do both.
I do as well, but nuns didn't teach me by right hand...but they did teach my mom, and slapped her hand with a ruler every time she wrote with her left hand. Nuns thought the left hand was the hand of the Devil...yeah, right.
Yeah I can do just about everything the same with both hands. I write with my write hand because the way we write is just easier for right-handed people. But I can write pretty well with my left hand.
the word itself disturbs me: "right handed with two hands" I pick which hand work's best. I write left handed, but cut right handed. Holding a hockey stick, I play standard, however I play british left. Frisbee either or. Golf either or. Basketball right. Baseball pitch right, bat either. Bowling right. Eat left only. most people don't know this but we read left to right and most of the letters used for words on a keyboard are on the left.
Well, actually I used to be . . . But let me say this much about "left-handedness" . . . I have seen so many left-handers in my life, that I could actually tell that they were left-handed by the way that they walked. I am not kidding. When I was a kid, I used to pull that trick on someone . . . I would say something like, "your new friend is left-handed" or some such . . . And they would say, "Yeah! I think he is! How'd you know that!?" . . . If you just watch "some Left-handers" you can pick it up by the way that they walk. Now, not all Left-handers are like that. I agree. I was never like that at all. Really, to tell you the truth, I was very much ambidextrous. But I have seen some that were so left-handed that it might have even been said that if you tie their left-hand behind their backs, then when they tried to walk, they would fall flat of their face.
My son is both handed. He prefers to write right handed but throws a ball and other things left handed. but, I can write upside down, backwards and upside down /backwards. 'chuckle' ...and I can write better backwards than forward left handed. (not well either)
I'm the same way. I write right handed but any sports I did was lefty - especially golf which I really hate but I'm very good at it. Don't play that anymore.
I shoot a gun with my left hand better than my right, but can do both.
But I'm extremely good at doing two different things at the same time with both hands
