Love em both but Safari helps me get mu blood pumping...while Bessie keeps me grounded as a person...Dam glad Safari is here but I could get mad with out him (sorry bud) with out Bessie I would get way to worked up LOL

Sorry about that I have a habit of not looking at profile pages unless I am asked to do so....one demerit for Frankie for assuming a gender with out case or evidence. I will try to be more careful about that. ...its kind of funny since I was just blogging this week about gender issues....and I really do not let gender affect what I say on here ...I simply talk about what is in the post . But you will find I tend to remember once I have been told something.
Hey safari, have you been watching the big water rights grab going on/down in Washington ? I had not seen a post about that one and its a very big deal...

I recall it when it first cam up and I feel it is a horrible thing to be happening to us - like many other things. I hope we can stop this one. They will control the land air and water now if this goes through.

To true but its hard to get people to even understand whats going on let alone explain the danger to them ...we still have that “hold” on registering every chicken , pig , cow etc in my county does not mean its not “the law” now just that we are able to stall for a few more months before the FDA/EPA/ Farm Bureau has control over my back yard...they killed all my orange trees a few years ago now they will take my chickens...hell I may need to build a still , might as well now that every free action is against the dam law.

I may have to get serious about one of those empty islands 50 miles off the coast here...but if I do they will probably find a way to extend the 12 mile limit just to get back at me !

...if I did not have a boat I would not know they are there, I saw a very nice cluster on my way back from the Bahamas 2 years ago and have been meaning to take a run out there and have a look ever since ...just have not had the time that and unlike the ones off the coast in palm beach I am not sure how to find a real estate agent for this group. *down there you can actually walk around until you find the for sale sign on all the islands ! Also I wonder how it works when you buy an island that is in international waters ? ...I really need to look it up.

They weren't part of the Bahamas?
the only islands I am aware of are the Bahamas and Bermuda - besides all the keys. But I've not been off shore on the east coast in my own boat except to the keys and the Bahamas. What ever country they are a part of is who would hold titles I guess. But on a cruise I've not seen any others. hmm Did you check your charts?

Nope ! Its a small cluster (to small to be a chain) 100 miles north of the Bahamas ...like I said I have got to go and check them out.
