You are very lucky, my parents didn't either but my dads family were heavy drinkers, I picked it up for quite a while but stopped cold turkey on my own best thing I have done in the last 6 yrs.
thank God ,because if its an option ,i will go where my friends go and the "peers pressure " can drive me to that. and i really don't miss anything .its nasty ,make you lose the thing that makes you human which is your brain . the disadvatages exceed the advatages .so that makes it bad thing
Alcohol has more negatives than it does positives for me, religion or no religion I think most benefit from not drinking so keep on the same path you will be fine.
I can relate I drank pretty heavy for a long time I have been sober for 6 yrs, that is what triggered the question I remembered how I use to feel after celebrating new years eve
Thanks, they suck, but at least they go away! I had two car accidents in a matter of a month, neither my fault, and have had this concussion for 2.5 months, it's a subdural hematoma and a concussion (not to be negative). Happy New Year! :)
no one in my family drinks
and i really don't miss anything .its nasty ,make you lose the thing that makes you human which is your brain .

Happy New Year! :)
