-
+4I know it sounds strange when you aren't use to the thought, but it's soooo good! Put just a thin layer and then some maple syrup. Delish! The peanut butter actually takes a little of the sweetness down a notch.reply - Lorenz0... Jack's ... 2013/01/29 00:53:31

+2When I was a kid, my Mother would just mix some syrup into peanut butter and give it to me and my siblings as a treat, so I suppose peanut butter could work on pancakes. I'll have to give it a try.reply -
Another user posted a peanut butter with maple flavoring. Um!reply - Mae Jack's ... 2013/01/29 13:39:06
+1Yeah, that's what reminded me of the snack my Mom used to give us, peanut butter and syrup, or peanut butter and honey, stirred up in a little cup. Mom worked, so she didn't have all that much time for baking cookies, so I guess she just improvised one day to satisfy someone's snacking needs, and came up with a very satisfying sweet treat that still had something nutritious to it, too.reply - Kevin Miller 2013/01/28 20:46:34Never had it? I'd never heard of such a thing and now we're considering it on SH... I'm gonna have to try it outreply
