In truth, I would vote for a ham sandwich if it ran against Obama. My only problem with Romney, and the rest of the Republican party as well, is they do not fight back.
For this particular battle, I see no problem with sinking to the level of the Democrats. As it is now, when one wave a fist, our guys go and hide behind the barn.

My vote will be for Gary Johnson(L), UNLESS, the race is close in my state then there is no choice, ROMNEY.

Unless Gary Johnson can win. This election: we can't throw votes away!

Not if your state is definitely going to one side or the other. Then your vote will not affect the electoral college race one way or the other. That is why I said I would vote for Romney if the race were close in my state.

The tea party is cleaning out the rino republicans as we speak. Dick Lugar of Indiana is such a rino that lost his primary. He served as senator for 36 years and has not lived in IN since 1982. Guys that refuse to live in the state they are supposed to represent don't deserve to win elections in my opinion.

Our country went over a financial cliff. This financial debacle started long before President Obama was in office. In 1981 the interest rate on our house was 14%. Under President Obama’s policies we were able to take advantage of the current record low interest rates because we took care of our credit. All the people with all of what we call “experience” didn’t see the financial crash coming. The financial web was so tangled; I don’t believe anyone can say they have all the answers. President Obama managed a difficult situation that he inherited and now has the economy on a steady pace of recovery. It is not as fast as people would like, but we are on the right track. I am trying to lose 40 pounds. It isn’t coming off as fast I would like but I am on a steady pace to lose the pounds and I am going to make it. My vote is for President Obama.
  • akgold Dee 2012/05/26 20:30:51

Those interest rates are courtesy of the Federal Reserve, NOT Obama or his administration. How many times did you refinance that14% mortgage to get lower interest rates?
  • Dee akgold 2012/06/20 17:37:37
    Dee
I realize interest rates are in the domain of the Federal Reserve. However, The President Democratic or Republican gets credit for the good, bad, and the ugly. We endured the 14% interest rate for about 10 years. We didn’t miss a payment, but we did have some late payments on our mortgage and a few other late payments. As the interest rates started coming down our credit rating due to some late payments brought our credit rating down and we were unable to refinance. I returned to work after being a stay –at- home mother got our credit rating back up and refinanced once. After 14% anything was a piece of cake! We sold that house before the financial meltdown. It is our current home that we took advantage of refinancing with the current low interest rates.

As Americans start paying a bit of attention to the state of government and the economy, they will realize that they are worse off now than when Obama took office. They will want someone who is not determinedly anti-business and therefore anti-jobs. They will want someone who is willing to back away from claiming that their minds, bodies, and labor belong to the collective. They will realize that there is much too much national debt put on the heads of every taxpayer and our children. They will come just enough to their senses that the great con man will be thrown out of office.

I see hate blasted all over the place for a man who inherited the previous administrations baggage. as a senior citizen, and as a woman who arrived during segregation, i see the same hate that i experienced as a person who was treated worse than an animal. simply because my skin was/is black. when are we going to get pass the color of our presidents skin. there are people in this country who hate our president more than they love "america." There is a heaven and there is a hell. where do you want to go when you pass over? and, better still, how will you explain your hatred to Almighty? you won't cause you won't be entering the pearly gates. The hater's hate is so intense, they actually believe that they are justified in their hate. i suppose if i was white and my history consisted of 43 white presidents, i might be a afraid too when #44 was a black man. whatcha' think he's gonna do? i say....he's gonna do the right thing by all people. i love him and i love you, even though you hate him more than you love "america." (i bet the majority of you haters consider yourselves "CHRISTIANS". WHAT DO YOU THINK JESUS WOULD SAY ABOUT YOUR HATE OF "MY' PRESIDENT? Need I say more?

If there is any hate it comes from hateful people like you who think any criticism directed at Obama must be "racism". The funny thing is you think your hate is justified.

No hate is justified. But what gets me is how you people (Repugs) let Bush run this country into the ground and get away with it. But it was okay I guess because he was a white man and we've never had a "minority" in office before 2008. Now that we do, it's lets blame everything on the "black guy" even though we all know darn well he inherited this mess and has been trying to do the best he can fighting the GOP every step of the way to fix the mess you Repugs got all of us into. We remember and we won't let you forget.

No hate is justified. REALLY? Hate is your currency, it is all you have to go with your lies, bigotry and hypocrisy. Of course you don't think hate is hate when the left is the side spewing it.

You really need to listen to more than Faux news.
    you people (Repugs)
they don't have to listen to their stupid pigheaded husbandsIs that more of faux news gibberish?

There are plenty of reasons to have contempt for Obama without needing a bit of racism to do so. His lying, hate ridden, sycophants are a much bigger stain on this country then he could ever be. And yes, you are certainly among that group. Moderate my ass!

Bless your heart, you've gone Biblical whereas this healthy thread of opinions should remain Political. Church & State are two entirely different entities, ummm...well...that's not entirely true either...?!

I consider organized religion, (in many instances,) just as much to blame for war, war on women, poverty and even famine as a sitting government. Elected or (self) appointed. At least religious zealots can be the downfall of a civilized society in many instances.

Check your history before you respond...then, consider the war we are fighting right at this very moment. Not to mention what is happening with the nuke issue w/ Iran vs Israel. Krikey...we could go on and on about this subject right? Just make sure you go back further than Bush when reading about our war with the Middle East. Folks seem to stop when Bush entered the picture

Also Marvelous, God gave us the power of choice, to make our own decisions, follow the path we create for ourselves, whether we walk in his light, or flounder in our own trials and tribulation, it remains our own private walk. And in the end....we alone will be accountable.

Be of good faith, and try to be thankful that there are people who have valid opinions, who use their voice by giving opposing sides peacefully. Your way seems rather zealot ...

I don't like David Letterman, I turn him off, I don't care to listen to MANY liberal, socialists white anchor folks, who espouse what they consider reasonable topical news on NPR, or CNN, so I don't listen.. does that make me racists against white people? No, I don't care for their ideals or the words they use to tell us so I use rational choices by changing the channel.

Obama's America, the ideas he wants to put into action, are what most people "hate" as you put it, and since these are his ideas, and he's sending the message, it's safe to assume people aren't going to care for the MAN ideas..not the COLORED mans ideas. It's soooooooo 20th century thinking. Move forward, don't link your color by birth and God together to make white folks feel badly. It no longer is applicable when America is struggling to survive. It's is time for Change....time to change the channel.

the white people voted him in office.I was glad that a black man won. I never thought i'd see that day. Being a musician I have black , latino friends who I have worked with and who I hang out with. A true musician looks for the best players to work with. all that being said, the Pres. is a nice man who would be a guest speaker @ the local Lions club etc. As a leader he has made the debt worse with a laundry list of failures.
