There was those who knew my mother from the time she was a child ..
when they saw me growing up .. they thought that I looked so much like my mother ..
and nowadays .. the resemblance is indeed there still ..
(sadly .. my mother passed away over a quarter century ago).

I have my daddy's nose, it sorta tilts up at the end like a ski jump! But I've learned to like it, even though I used to want to have it "fixed". I'm glad I didn't :-)

I think I have my mom's features, in terms of face shape/body type.
I'm more like my dad on a mental level.

However my blue eyes and blonde hair kind of came out of nowhere, since both my parents have dark hair and eyes. Yay recessive alleles.

Or...defective o.o; Blonde hair comes from a lack of pigmentation. Healthy hair in theory should be brown. (That's not saying that blonde hair isn't healthy, it just doesn't have as much pigmentation). The same with blue eyes actually. One of the ways to get blue eyes is to use lasers to 'kill' pigments in the eyes. Thus blue eyes are the absence of these pigments o.o. For some reason natural blue eyes have more protection that faux blue eyes, but not as much as brown or green for that matter o.o

*I have blonde hair and blue eyes and I'm not intending to be insulting =P*
