  As a republican, I have to deal with pretending to be racist so I can fit in with the rest of my party :( It's so much harder than it looks. I'm constantly mixing up the terms 'wet-backs' and 'gringos'.

  Things like making the payments on Property Taxes. ...Filing Quarterly Tax Statements....making sure the Bills are paid for the Clinic my sisters and I own....and carefully watching the breeding programs of all the animals on our Ranch....Problems and headaches...I have them!

  Rich and blue blood is not the same thing. Anybody can be rich. To be blue blood, you have to have thin enough skin for your veins to show. That used to be a sign of upper-class white people, hundreds of years ago.

  I realize what "blue blood" means, we still have plenty of old money where I live. I was trying to be specific. The satirical problems they listed are problems that people who always had money (old money) have, not the problems most new money (rich people that worked for it) have. Didn't mean to rub you the wrong way.

  You didn't. It's just like the class (which we aren't even supposed to have) problem. Most people only consider amount of money when they think lower, middle or upper class. There is a lot more to it than that, but not in this country, I think.

  Really? I didn't know that. I am pretty white and you can definitely see my veins in certain areas of my body. I don't believe any of my Irish ancestors were upper class though. I don't look very white because of my Mediterranean features, but let's put it this way, my legs are good awful white.

  That's what history says, but I'm with you. My skin is so white you could use me for a light at night, no kidding. I have a little Cherokee, but evidently not enough to color my skin.

  When I was a teen, I'd have given anything to tan. Finally, I had to admit it was never going to happen and just be pale, very pale. I've actually had people ask me if I were sick or what's wrong with me.

  When I use it, I've always had to use light ivory. Anything else and I look like a clown because you have to stop somewhere and there is always a line if it's darker. I'm old enough now that I don't care.
