Everyone knows about Silicon Valley, but not everyone knows that Israel is also a leader in biotech and tech startups. Just read "Start Up Nation" or watch "Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference" to learn about how Israel has the highest density of tech startups in the world. Or how it attracts more venture capital dollars per person than any other country. Search "Israel startups" on Google (which uses an Israeli search algorithm of course) to find out about the 5% GDP it spends on R&D;, which is double the UK's GDP commitment. Or watch this video below to see how one tech university in Israel is changing the world!

By 2050 I'm pretty sure that the US won't be a leader in any field. Too much government bureaucracy, too many lazy americans, poor education system, & it's too cheap and easy to base production in other nations.

We've become complacent and it's starting to show.

The microchip and software industry is already spreading out world wide and will probably be based in Asia by 2050. But there is a real possibility that before that time comes, most of the Mideast, including Israel, will be too radioactive to support life. If Israel is still there as an unbombed Jewish republic It should be doing well.

If Israel goes to war there will be no need to worry about Silicon Valley nor Israel. The better question should be what will happen to the nations if war erupts....

The people of Israel who killed Christ Jesus, peace be upon him
No text in the Quran that the people of Israel will be a superpower in the last decade, then comes Jesus, peace be upon him, and the war between Jesus and his followers, and between the Antichrist and his followers of the Jews

LOL, the world should last so long. We are most certainly in the "End Times" and I suspect that the very end will take place on or about 2020, so stay tunned because I am looking for a sign that will usher in the "Great Tribulation", which is going to last 7 years and then the Second Coming.

As a general observation of the US and its standing in the world we are on a downward slide in every measurable area. Making a long range bet, I am going with Israel. I'll be dust before we get to 2050 so I will never know the answer.

israel has but one prayer ," i repent "just like the rest of the world , they are no different . the ones who are different have accepted jesus as savior , they are the israel of God.but more are the children of the desolate than she that hath an husband , they have been cut off and we stand by faith , therefore have fear .

We give Israel 4 billion a year now and have a strange relationship with them because of the Christian fundamentalist's eschatology. Christian's United for Israel is sure that after the Rapture the Israelites will come out of hiding and be converted. Joseph Liberman is part of this as well as Rick Santorum. We will be buying and investing in Israel's sand so they will top Iran's Petrochemical empire

Israel was not built on nothing. It was built on the backs of American taxpayers. Unless God pays taxes in the US, he had nothing to do with it.
