I went on a pub crawl last night and mostly stuck to vodka. Woke up with a raging hangover this morning but I'm alright now. Red wine also tends to make me hungover. What about you? I think I'm gonna stick to drinking white wine from now on :)

Mixing a case of beer with margaritas (tequila & triple sec) was not wise.
Found stuff aged in charred casks to be quite nasty

All of them. But now a days I never have more than one glass of wine, one beer or one double shot of liquor at a time and those times are not very frequent.

The hangover is a symptom of dehydration, if you drink a lot of water while drinking alcohol you will seldom get a hangover unless you just drink way to much.

Tequila. Hands down. A lack of self control may also be a factor.

The cheap stuff, be it wine, beer or liquor, will most likely be the culprit. I never just 'order a drink' any more without looking what they're pouring, or asking the bartender what they have. You can pay extra up front, or you can pay for it the next day. Vodka and Gin are the two liquors least likely to give you a hangover, but you have to stick with the quality stuff, avoid the house brands. Wine can be hit and miss, but if i ever get a headache, I avoid that brand in the future, there are plenty of others to try!

...cheap wine, sweet mixed drinks, bonded liquor. I drink moonshine myself.

Any cheap liquor will give you a hangover; the worse quality, the worse the hangover will be. Also, sugary drinks (for me) seem to bring on a hangover. That, and drinking a lot of different types of drinks in one evening (which is easy to do at clubs when you're drinking beer, and then someone orders a round of Jello shots, and then your girlfriend wants you to try some 'cute' mixed drink she ordered and you end up getting one yourself also) can be a killer.

When I used to drink, I never ever got a hangover when I would insist on right around top shelf vodka (Stolichnaya, Grey Goose), but I always felt it the next day if it was Smirnoff or some other cheap name.
