I've never been to America but for me it would have to be Colorado. I just fall in love at the sight of those towering snow-capped mountains and pine forests.
I'm from Massachusetts and I think that all of the New England states have beautiful areas, especially Vermont, northern New Hampshire, coastal Maine, in Massachusetts there's Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket and there's the Mohawk trail which is at the northern edge of MA running east/west and the Berkshires are nice. I've been to Washington state and that's a very pretty state. You can go to the seashore, or up into the Cascade mountains, go through Snoqualmie Pass and next thing you know you in a dessert with sage brush blowing across the room. Very weird but nice. Virginia is very pretty too. If you have Cable, they've been running a series called "Arial America" and each show highlights one state with a fly over. I would love to see Alaska, Wyoming and Arizona and the Grand Canyon, also the Dakotas. All states have some beauty about them. I don't think you can go too far wrong. The first two pictures are along the Mohawk Trail in MA and the third is in NH.
I think every state has something beautiful about it.Each state is unique. My favorite states would be the New England states.Vermont and Maine the top two.
Of the states I've lived in,South Carolina,Washington, and Hawaii would be my picks for beautiful.I've heard the New England states are beautiful and I'd love to spend some time in that area of the country.
I've been to over 30 states so far, and I can't pick one. Colorado is stunning, but so is Vermont. California is.....California. Every state is gorgeous. I'm not big on the flat states, but the miles and miles of green growing farms are beautiful. Sorry.....I don't have a favorite, other than home, of course.
I grok that. Even Kansas.... miles and miles of crops is beautiful in its own way. The expanse of it gladdens our hearts because it is the breadbasket of life.
