Honestly, they're the main part of why radio music annoys me so much. If they could just stop making music, I'd happily take the generic 1-hit wonders that are sandwiched in between. Even Katy Perry, who I strongly dislike and most would classify hate, isn't as ear bleedingly annoying as those 4.

I find though that once one really annoying act has disappeared, another even more annoying one comes along to take their place. I fear the radio will never be safe to listen to! :-)
