Which Show Are You Rooting for to Win the Emmy for Best Comedy Series?

I didn't watch it until I realized I was the only person on my school's academic team that hadn't seen it. Now I'm hooked.

I like comedies, Arrested Development & Wilfred for example are hilarious. Just sick of the corny ones.

Hands down. I don't care for much tv, when I do watch, I watch Big Bang.

"Modern Family" is funny as "Hell" and they should "Win"!!

The IT Crowd is my nerd sitcom of choice.

Same here. I love IT Crowd, but couldn't get into Big Bang Theory. I think the difference is that IT Crowd isn't trying to be gimmicky, but Big Bang Theory is.

I think people who watch these shows are very sad people. Network sitcoms? really? what is this the 1980's? Don't any of you have cable or movie channels? I have not watched local news in 10 years or any sitcoms period!!!! Do only poor people watch network tv sitcoms? Its like there is two Americas.... those that watch this crap and those who have a life.

Last time I checked, watching sitcoms didn't determine your level of income.

Let me restate my comment. The amount of money I make is not based on what I watch. In reality, I'm not much of a television person. However, since you asked, here is what I tend to watch:

The Big Bang Theory
Criminal Minds
Breaking Amish
various medical documentaries

Just to recap, this has nothing to do with my level of income. My being "poor" is the result of me being a high school student and only being able to work part time at just above minimum wage.


Also, you implied that anyone that watches a sitcom does not have a life. I am breathing; therefore I have a life.

30 Rock, Modern Family & Curb Your Enthusiasm are all funnier in my opinion.

I just think that it is generally funny, and I can sort of relate to them (being misunderstood)

I haven't seen Girls, Veep, or Modern Family so I might be wrong but I find it an unfair setup because I think everyone is answering based on the show they would rather live in, and the people they'd rather date or know. That isn't exactly comedy.

I mean Big Bang theory sets a nice atmosphere with the light jab's it has going through it but Curb, while there is no one you would want to date or know, hands out fewer but deeper knockout jokes that it builds to that resonate with life so much. I have to say, comedy wise, it's delivering quality over quantity.
