After a National Geographic Channel poll revealed that 65% of Americans believe that Barack Obama would be better suited to handle and alien invasion than Mitt Romney, we were curious hear what SodaHeads had to say about the issue.
When analyzing National Geographic’s results, Erik Hayden of TIME NewsFeed was quick to point out that both candidates are well-versed in science fiction.
“Romney . . . enjoyed Star Trek on TV (though reportedly doesn’t consider himself a Trekkie), likes Star Wars, is a fan of Battlefield Earth (the book, if you please) and says Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game is one of his favorites, according to a Politico profile earlier this year.”
He added, “Obama is no sci-fi slouch either, having given nods to both Star Wars and Star Trek while in office. Well-versed in the ways of the Force, he’s been spotted on the White House lawn jousting with a Jedi lightsaber. He’s also flashed Star Trek’s Vulcan salute in the Oval Office when he posed for a photo with the show’s Nichelle Nichols earlier this year.”
Hayden also pointed out that this is one time when Obama’s analytical Spock-like demeanor—something he’s tried to downplay in the past—may actually be working for him.

Obama PROMISED he would bring our troops back from the middle east. He has refused to keep his promise and people are still dying, still suffering, at HIS behest... HIS decisions ..JUST THE SAME AS the BUSH. He is nothing but a politician like all ..but much smarter/adroit at convincing idiots to vote for him to continue in power he does not deserve like so many before him.... .

Shame you want to blame the tow truck operator for your car being off a cliff.
It is a shame many do not fault the people who are responsible for the debt. The republicans who took a country with a balanced federal budget and promptly unbalanced it by tax cuts for the rich and two wars off budget. Be proud of your party. They gave new meaning to fiscal responsibility. Shame you still would rather follow voodoo economics than economics that actually work.
Also .. if you read more of the threads ... I blame Bush Sr. AND the bi-partisan congresses and presidents after him... all of them ... ( though I am quite certain he truly had no idea what he was doing , but surely his son must have somewhat suspected heavily the consequences of association with slave owners ) for this time line America is now following.
However.. I do believe Obama is the epitome of politicians... the king of politicians...
... and he bows to slave owners and his Hillary wears the veil, even though she of all females should know she should never have worn one at all no matter what for any excuse.

Obama is about as worried about helping the middle class as he is about helping his brother,who is still living in a shack...
Of course President B.O. would be better at selling out the white meat and creating generations of human sheep for the darker races for future generations of hungry planetary aliens.
If the invading aliens prefer white meat, and President B.O. succeeds in selling out the white meat (which I'm sure he would do based upon the Reverend Jeremiah Wright Chronicles), the invading aliens may move on to another planet saving what's left of the leftover human race of sheep who originally voted for the Marxist Pied Piper of America, and if reelected, will be known as the President who busted the U.S. Capitalist system and the President who created race divisions rather than unity within U.S. borders.
A President is defined and elected in the United States to unite its citizens making the Country healthy and strong. What's wrong with this definition for President B.O.?
Of course if the goal is to create a bigger government, then a bigger government needs the victim mentality and division among it's citizens.

My city ( Jacksonville Fl ) hires people to simply stand on street corners downtown wearing "ambassador " shirts. Also we hire people to wash street signs. Full benefits, perks, excellent health care , with retirement plans. Our news people never seem to mention anything about these ridiculous ways to waste money while the city tells firefighters and police officers they have to cut way way back .
