I do like Brokeback Mountain, but it's not my favorite. My favorites, are Imagine Me and You Lost and Delirious, But I'm a Cheerleader, and The Truth About Jane. It's a tie, deal with it :D.

I wouldn't call any of these "homosexual films." Yes, they had gay characters in them, but the themes were universal, and the films were all pretty mainstream. I picked Capote because I loved Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance in the title role. I don't know if PSH is gay or straight, but he made a great Truman Capote.

I actually haven't seen any of these. But I've been meaning to watch Milk so I'll pick that.
Philadelphia's a great movie though. So is Priscilla.

Milk was okay... wasn't even interested in seeing Capote...never heard of Velvet.... and Party Monster was just too weird.

Torch Song Trilogy was my favorite. You should also watch the wedding banquet, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Jeffrey, oh soooo many good ones!

I fell in love with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ewan MacGregor, Christian Bale, Toni Collette, The lead singer from Placebo...I have a cassette soundtrack, cd, vhs movie and the dvd. Love the era, remember Bowie and Marc Bolan, so much ribald glittery fun...drugs weren't shunned they were welcomed as were orgy all nighter's so much innocent debauchery...before the sobering AIDS epidemic, I think of it as the age of innocence!!!

So yummy to watch too!!! If beautiful man were actually in the dictionary his picture would be right there beside it!!! I also loved him in the Tudors!!! Wish that show had gone a few more seasons. I think he may be a tortured soul and have a drinking problem to boot!!! That only makes him more appealing to me!!! I love tragic figures!!!

I love moody and he is just that. His eyes are to die for. I think my favorites are, besides the Tudors, the cute movie, August Rush, when he played Elvis and Bend it Like Beckham.. I could watch him everyday, all day. It is sad that he has the drinking problem. Seems trouble follows him everywhere. I tend to go for the not so much tragic figures, but troubled. .

So they can be dicks and shout loudly about how they hate them homos. Prevents them from having to open the closet door.

I can believe that. They probably think that by denying it, it will go away.. It's their closet time now.. lol. They'll come out eventually.

"Milk" was an excellent film. It bothers me some that you characterized these as "homosexual films". I almost didn't respond to the question. I've only seen 2 of the above listed films but they were so much more than that.

Harvey Milk was a crusader for justice and equality for all people. His murder was a real loss for us all.
