Dreams of flying are among the most common dreams, along with falling and losing teeth. They're certainly the most enjoyable of the three. For some people, flight is more than a dream. Pilots, adrenaline junkies, and inventors have all had occasion to defy gravity and take to the skies. But we wanted to ask the public about extreme flights of fancy -- superpowers and jetpacks, flying pigs and floating food. Be sure to take our 6-question Quick Poll to fill out the entire survey.     I've always wanted wings!! There's something fascinating about flying by your own power, I think. And imagine giving a hug to someone if you had wings! Warm and fluffyyyy

    Spandex and Cape implies that I am capable of flying without any sort of external appendage or apparatus. This means that the spandex and cape option allows me to outright control the laws of physics with my mind, not to mention the convenience of not having awkward wings that may give out, or a potentially breakable, dangerous jetpack where the fuel runs out. WIngs are a weird mutation, Jetpack is a device, but spandex and cape flying is a SUPERPOWER. Ill take the superpower first any day.

    I have to say that the jetpack is my favorite as we have been "promised" them for years.

    The boat that started a new hobby

    Aside from that, I picked a sailboat. It is more fun then another security check-in for business class... I was surprised but i enjoyed it better then my >13 skydiving jumps too!

    actually, if I have to fly, I don't even want business class. Too expensive and not really worth the price. I'm fine with being all the way in the rear of the plane.

    Actually none of the above. Regarding this subject see other Q. regarding trying to fly as a kid.
    Most of my more recent dreams of flight have been where I am the pilot, the sole occupant in a plane I built myself and flying over a wilderness with not a human soul in sight in the air or on the ground.
    Dreams when I was younger involved various fighter designs going back to pre-W.W.II era and open cockpits...
    The FAA and crowded skies are the reason flying isn't really any fun now.
