Emo isn't serious enough, it's just some trend amongst teens that they grow out of. Goth is more serious, the clothing is better, and it means more.

i love emo ppl <3. when it comes to goth, I have no bias for them whatsoever, I just cant deal with all the tattoos and piercings. too taboo for me. i still respect both groups

It's not a stereotype-it's a subculture. Some goths are creepy, but a lot them are CERTAINLY not fake.

In fact, I've met more fake, put on Emo and Scene Kids.

With out goth there would be no emo or scene. The way I see it there was punk which lead to goth which lead to emo and scene. If you want to go way back there were bohemians greasers punks goths emo scene. I was goth in high school now I consider myself scene. ^_^

I see goths as deep, intelligent people with a touch of melancholy in their nature who are very interesting to talk with. For me emos are shallow, extremely sad for no reason, easily annoyed and annoying. And as I can't find a person I don't like sexy, I say goths are sexier.
