There are too many folks in the modern age getting to used to getting hand outs paid for by other people. The must manual thing these scroungers do is to raise there hands to recieve and never to give.
The person who lives and works ethically and wants to keep what he earns and ...
A convenient truth is that productivity is so high now in the United States that not everyone needs to work full time to produce all the goods and services needed by everyone. BUT everyone needs money to buy those goods and services. If we got rid of federal welfare related programs we could give everyone a $10,000 per year stipend. See www.federalincomesupplement.com
The person who lives and works ethically and wants to keep what he/she earns is clearly less selfish. He/She neither needs nor wants anyone to take care of him/her.
What's more, he/she is in a position to be of help to the truly needy. The "taker," on the other hand, is not.
BUT most people these days seem to want something for nothing....or cool with taking from the "rich" to give to the people they think should have it.
Look at what the OWS crowd. It's like the socialist mentality is becoming the main one these days. That 1% vs 99%.
I am all for helping someone who down on their luck as so MANY are these days yet...the entitlment is out of control. They want all kinds of services but don't want to pay for them. Instant gradification is big as well.
The few seriously rich people I know are not trust fund babies like so many people complain about (funny enough the really rich stuck up pricks I have known were VERY liberal and cool with cheating on their taxes to pay way less because it is THEIR money they got from mommy and daddy after all....) have worked for years paying taxes after taxes, taking care of employes, and living like they did 20 years ago very frugle. Good people who take care of their family and land.
The worst trust fund baby I have ever known was a girl who lived with the Rainbow people. Homeless type people begging on corners, doing drugs, stealing.....then when she got tired of it she'd run back to her house on the beach her parents bought her and party like crazy with the others like her. A real spoiled b!tch....but she belonged to PETA and libernazi womens movments....
