Listen to their songs off of The White Album, Abby Road, and Let It Be...Naked; it was definately hard rock.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise you were fully grown and able to understand the world in the sixtys! In their era, they were pop, yes they might of had some songs that were more towards rock, but every band has songs that arent steriotypically their genre. When you class a band, you use their primary genre, and the beatles were, and always will be, pop.

Thats like trying to say that Nirvina was a heavy rock band...

You can think whatever you want, but realize that no one else classifies Hetler Sketler as pop. All music websites (and Wikipedia) describe these songs as "Hard Rock."

The Beatles started their careers in Pop, but ended it in Hard Rock. You can describe Hard Rock as Pop, but realize that most people will disagree with your definition then.

Nirvana wasn't very heavy, but it wasn't pop either. There are many middle grounds between Pop and Metalcore.

You do realize that wiki can be edited? So any one could write what they wanted to. I've just never met any one who classifies the Beatles as Rock, or heavy rock.
And just to be sure, you've asked every other person on this earth about helter skelter then?

-Then you should talk to any Beatles fan or listener to Rock music.

-You are asking if I've talked to every other person on the earth...of course not, but of the people I've talked to, they (excluding you) would classify it as Hard Rock just like everyone else.
