+11I lived in both and Chicago rocks! Clean, amazing beaches, festivals, street fairs, business climate, the pedway, architecture, great parks, golf courses at the lakefront, the harbors, bike paths, fishing, volleyball, sports, food, people, Museums, Navy Pier and, of course our skyline is brilliant. Just a kick city and so convenient. NYC has its attributes, great for business, then get out. fishing at the hook
Oh Good God you're a libertarian, so yes by all means you must be right in at least your own head and my opinion means nothing as far as your concerned. So by all mean shoot your mouth off, like the rest of your lost little friends.
LOL... Chicago has better pizza, nothing beat Chicago style. But when it come to Sandwiches New Yorkers have the world beat !
But see I'm a Big ole Ape and love the overstuffed, Ole school mafia style food of New York. The Chicago food is only second best to New York. I'm From Peoria IL and spent a life time growing up if the windy City area.
Let's say we are even on food and restaurants. If they can't make it as good as me, I will not go to a restaurant. I'm pretty good; my mom owns a kick restaurant in Tokyo for 65 years, and I can throw down! 300 dinners a night and not once was anything ever sent back (NY) and it was a Continental Restaurant. ; )
Attitude - advantage Chicago (tough, but not douche-y)
Cleanliness - advantage Chicago (Lake Michigan vs. Hudson, for example)
