FIREWORKS...... My dogs have ended up with noise phobia's because of the stupid things..... HATE, HATE, HATE THEM..... please note my angry typing.... lol
We need antibiotics. But when they were first discovered they didn't know how to use them properly, which caused lots of bacteria to become resistant. In a way, antibiotics were one of the worst discoveries ever...
Yes but that was then and this is now. We now now what they r for. And it's not only bacteria, there r many things that have become resistant and u don't know abt them. U'd be surprised.
I would have them be discovered about 40 years later when they knew to keep treating people until all the bacteria were destroyed. Antibiotics destroyed many lives when used incorrectly... I am aware it wasn't just bacteria, I was simplifying it for the benefit of others.
Incorrect. Religion is an invention. If it's not, then it shouldn't exist, but it obviously does. And I'm not a hateful person. Ever noticed that religion causes most conflicts in the world?
Power caused most conflicts. So wrong again. Be careful which Religions you're referring to. ALSO, It is as much of an Invention as the hypothesis of Evolution.
I'm referring to all religions. I'm not singling one of them out, I'm calling them ALL out. And that's where you're wrong. Like you said, the HYPOTHESIS of evolution. It's not proven, nor will it ever be proven, so there's going to be people like you who don't believe a word that came from Charles Darwin's mouth, and there's going to be people like me who believe every single word that brilliant man uttered. I don't know why you're arguing with me. As I recall, you asked a question, and I answered. If you didn't like my answer, you could've just ignored it.
This person calling you a hateful person may be implying that God wrote the bible and then revised it several times because He didn't get it right ...and then they showed how hypocritical some religious folk are. Sorry you had to endure that today...that sucks.
Ok, I'm 48 and use a flip-phone for phone calls from my husband and for emergencies. We were out fishing one day and we found someone's smart phone. I felt like Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in "Zoolander" trying to figure out how to call the last person called so I could tell them that their friend lost their phone! LOL We wound up running into the guy at another lake nearby without ever making a call. *she shrugs* I remember the day before them...it was nice and people weren't walking around staring at their phones all day!
Exactly! I knew someone would get me... Ya, it's like the last thing they use those for is making calls! Ridiculous. ...and I bet that guy was REALLY happy you found his phone and not some one else (who wouldn't have given it back) Saved him a fortune!
Yep! Because I will find you!!! The last time we found a biker's wallet who didn't use a chain to attach it to himself, we found the guy's business cards in there and called and the dude who was running from bar to bar out here in the NJ pines so my husband waited a half hour in the August heat on a nearby highway to meet up with the guy. He told me that if the dude was too drunk to drive off he wasn't gonna give it to him until he found a ride but the dude was alright... Another time it was a young girl who had her wallet taken from her purse at a nightclub and the people threw it out on the bridge leaving Seaside. We were in bumper to bumper traffic when we saw it so we went to the police station and went through it with an officer to find a phone number to contact her so that she could get her SS card and stuff back...her money was gone which is why we went to the police so we had no chance of being accused of the crime, ya know? People shouldn't be carrying around stuff that's hard to replace but.........yep, if you lose something around us, we will do our best to find you. (we DO exist *gasp*) lol

("smartphone" to be exact. - buy a f-ing computer or ipad already! do you even use the phone part anymore???)

We've also found wallets on 2 different occasions and managed to find the people and get them reconnected.
I hope when I lose something it's near you!!!
