As much as I love New Orleans and its music venues, I think Austin might edge it out in variety.

Denver Colorado has the most diverse and fun as they are the center of "new." I'm from Seattle, and am use to the local clubs getting the newest music and parties.

However, I have recently discovered that what they find as "new" has been popular in Denver for at least 2 years before it becomes the fad in Seattle.

Dubstep is the proof of this, specifically, Skrillex.

They have tons of music. My mom has to go there couple times a year for her job requirement so I get to hitch a ride and kick it with her when she does.
