Which Do You Prefer: Drawing or Writing?

I am a terrible artist, so I love writing a lot more. I wrote a novel in high school for NaNoWriMo that my English teacher begged me endlessly to read, and when I let her she actually liked it, which was cool. I've never let anyone else read it though, I think it is horribly embarrassing.

shaman

a butterfly wolfman
walks in the light
of day
and in the darkness
amongst the people
but set apart
as if a ghost
ephemeral
yet substantial
on roads
strange and dangerous
rarely trod
and chosen not by he
and even thronged by frenetic host
when all is said
and all is done
he walks the world alone

his wings are frail
but his heart is strong
the power of his calling is in his hand

and a sage
a leader

and a freedom fighter
an artist and a philanthropist

I love expressing my things in drawings...

I rather draw than write...

Me either. I'm a very linear thinker and I'm good at composition so I do better with abstract mixed media. No real life stuff for me.

I Maybe Terrible at it, but I still prefer to draw everyday! then write...

I'd rather draw but I get lazy and stay away from the studio for weeks at a time.

I love both, but I am better at drawing....

I love to draw but I paint better with spitting verbs, To move nouns of the poetic written words, See I'm skill in art of rhyme, And I can write stories that are of the awesome kind, I have musical inclination, To write a song at any time in any nation, So I bring this written deluge of words raining down, To the internet in every town.

I prefer doing math problems.

For REAL ??? Thats SO boring.

Not for an intelligent person.

It depends on my mood and what I feel like doing more.

Okay....Here's why!

If I ever draw a crow, it turns out looking like a frog...So, I prefer writing....:D

I'm terrible at drawing.

Hmm. It USED to be drawing, but now its writing.



I also wanna give a shout out to all my teachers who said I would amount to nothing (and I have)



SHAME on you for never giving us enough creative writing project that would of sparked the interests and imaginations of possible future writers. Its always been about what YOU wanted. Being forced to write about BORING subject matter that didn't appeal to me had turned me off from writing back in grade school. Now that I write my own stories, I've discovered that writing can be FUN. No thanks to you, public education...

Sad, but true. Hated school.

It comes more naturally for me.

I like writing about drawing and drawing pictures of writers.

I do both, though drawing has been my primary creative outlet ever since I could pick up a pencil.

I write all the time and other then stick figures my drawing sucks...I can write you a poem or a novel or just a song...it's what I like to do :)

I can't draw too well but I love writing and I got an award for it.

Both are beautiful and I love doing both.

Both equally.

I enjoy writing. I would probably like drawing if I could draw better. I'm only mildly artistic.

PS- That includes just about anything but poetry which I really suck at. I like reading poetry especially limericks but I can't write them at all. Although I did write a limerick about how I write bad poetry for English class before.
