Which depiction of "alice in wonderland" is best?

I've seen loooooaaaads of epictions in my life time. We all (or most of us) remember the disney version, its usually the gateway depiction. Many of us have read the original book, starred in plays of it at primary school and there is also the new tim burton film. However, this is barely the icing on the cake. There are BAJILLIONS more, including anime (a nod to pandora hearts fans here XD ) a mad hatter batman villain, and (oh dear God), yes, there is even a freakin' porn version (don't you even think about posting pictures of it on here!)
In fact, just recently, one of the exam subjects in art was called "through the looking glass" where students had to make depictions of alice in wonderland characters on a stack of cards. I chose to do rocking horses (an alternate question), I mean, EVERYONE thought I would do the Alice in wonderland one because I love fantasy, but, it's a little overused, and rocking horses has a fresher scope in my eyes, for me personally.
In my novel "the ballad of Saiorse vergisan", there are a few mild nods to AIW, including a character's sister being called Alice and having lent her bunny slippers to Saiorse, and Saiorse herself mentioning wonderland at one point in the place she goes to (A strange ecosystem made by star people)
And for the last time, Lewis Carol, was NOT on drugs when he wrote this, k?

For some weird reason, I will always have a soft spot for the disney version, please don't troll me for doing so :P
