Which company manfactures the best bass guitars?

You don't have Sadowsky listed, so from your list I'll pick Music Man. I have a MM Bongo bass, and it's a pretty versatile instrument. It's no Sadowsky, though.

I'm guessing this is suppose to be Modulus but...yes Modulus is the easy winner to my ears. Stellar instruments.

I love those! They are so cool! I got a squier p -bass but i will soon buy a fender jazz bass. P bass is pretty good to.

I got a Lotus guitar which they don't make anymore, which is an exact copy of a Strat. And I have a Line 6 that looks like the Strat. And I got an Alvarez Acoustic Twelve string (hand made) that is about 40 years old.

Cool! It must be really rare. How do you get those??

I bought it 40 something years ago brand new when they were still making them hand made. It is signed and dated. I have no idea how much it is worth now. I think I saw one on Ebay once.

Oh no, I speak poor Spanish, some Cherokee (since I am Cherokee), and English. I know maybe two words in German. And that's about it. She sends me emails. And send mine to her.

My favorite Is rickenbacker, their instruments are beautiful, and I've always loved the tone.. I own a fender, but I don't like it the strings are not great and the pickups give kind of a scratchy tone...squier is no better. Just an even cheaper version of it. . Ibanez is good at times, depending on which one you get, the cheaper ones have really crappy Volume control. Hofner is Good ,I love it's tone. Fleabass has cool colors but it's tone isn't what I hoped it would be. Music man is pretty good, but a pain in the arse to tune and it's fingerboard is kind of hard to 'maneuver' around. Gibson is good BUT I've always noticed problems with the pickups and That goes for epiphone as well. I've never really liked Epiphone. Jackson Is the only one I havn't played so I don't know how good it is. But I'm not crazy about The shape..that's it though. :)

I've always wanted a 4001. They're pretty good looking basses. I agree for a cheap bass epiphones are actually really good. I like the SG's. Squiers aren't too bad for the price either to be honest, but I'm kind of sick of the appearance, same with fender...They all look the same. lol I own a squier affinity jazz bass I think I'm going to sell it and save up for the rickenbacker.

I just might try those strings now. I always look at them at the music store in my town and I've always debated about getting them. I guess it would be a good idea now!
