Toss up for me. Green go best with the Martini's I'm not supposed to drink. But nothing beats a great Kalamata olive in a salad! Come to think of it, they are both sounding very good indeed!
Oil-cured black Mediterranean olives with cumin are the best. Picholines without stuffing are the best. The only olive i've met that didn't wow me was the boring kind marketed as a "black olive", usually from California (even though I'm in California).
