Well, being stuck in an elevator doesn't sound so bad as long as I have a lovely lady to play with while I'm stuck. As long as it stays stuck till we're done anyway.
Oooh good question. In a ski lift, you're out in the open air but probably cold, and since something is broken, you'd be scared of falling down. Then in a lift, I'd feel a bit claustrophobic, but I could sit/lie down and move around a bit more....yeah, I think that would be slightly preferable.
In an elevator, you don't have to worry about getting frostbite, or getting attacked by hungry wolves or other wild animals. I think help is able to get to you sooner in an elevator than on a ski lift.
I once had a horrible dream that I was stuck in an elevator, and the walls fell off, and I was just holding onto the floor, and it was swinging in mid air in a haunted factory by string. But I'm sure that would never happen in real life....
'Hopefully you'd have something to look at whilst you awaited rescue, unlike an elevator which would probably smell like urine and just reflect your own panicked features around the walls!
