Where can I find one of these... Intelligent males?

So, when recently talking to one of my guy friends(who is like insanely smart and awesome at video games) I asked him where I could find one like him.
He told me that it's buy one get one at Wal-Mart. (yes people, this is sort of a joke so don't get your panties in a twist) Curious though, where do I find one of these intelligent, funny, caring, kinda an ass(but in a joking way), can be serious, and likes to play video games, type of guys? 'Cause if you say they're everywhere... You are insane.

Go to your closest college go to back of the classroom of the very difficult classes and find the kid playing WoW, Civilization etc, and still passes the class with ease, with ease does not mean and A i purposely made my average a 70 on the dot so my teacher wouldn't hassle me about being a tutor

cos im a guy and its the sort of thing that only insensitive macho types (not me) will say publicly... thats probably why you're struggling to find mr right - because most of the intelligent sensitive types lack confidence around girls and rarely take initiative (i know I've been there) ...you have to make the first move a lot of the time because theyre usually reluctant to try something new, but if you can find one who is also confident and outgoing you're onto a winner...... but yeah tits are cool! :) I hope this helps

I guess that makes me kinda wierd too lol.. i used to be really shy but I realised that I'm not going to get anywhere by sitting on the fence and that i needed to start standing on my own feet rather than waiting for good things to come to me.. and the only way to do that was to put myself out there and become more confident.. I am still quite shy but I don't let people push me around so much anymore :)

Sounds to me that you were giving your guy friend the biggest hint in the world and he did not pick up on it. Looks like you have already found the guy you want. Um, no. Actually, I don't like him like that and he doesn't like me like that. He has found his love :) I'm quite happy for him. Its great to see him happy. I wasn't dropping any "hints" I was joking with him. Maybe to someone who is different and has a different sense of humor it seems that way. But, no. I'm fine. I am not that type of chick anyway. To take a guy away from games. I'm not controlling. Sorry.

Oh okay, but! I think you DO like him like that, but you are looking for someone just like him. Actually, it's okay to like someone and not let them know because they are involved with someone else. Be honest with yourself. Also, relationships are a compromise. Sometimes you do what he wants, and sometimes he does what you want. Good luck on your quest!

All which I love, there are a few nerdy cute guys who are into manga at Books-a-Million, still trying to find my way around there little I have to be 18+ to work there rule. I'm thinking about applying for the cafe job which is inside there, but can be 16 :3 and our Gamestop is full of.. Boys.. By boys I mean, guys who are 16+ who act like they're 7 years of age, which is funny, but scary. But, that's the only "nerdy" things in my town >.< Plus, not too sure how to approach people.. Other than in a friendly way and that way mostly applies to females >_< unless a guy has boobs, in-which case. It may get a little awkward. Thanks for the suggestions though :)

I am relatively modest and consider myself one of the ppl you seek. The sad thing is that I find it insanely hard to find a girl that is looking for that. I actually in some environments pretend to have less of these characteristics in order to get girls. When hanging out at a bar, I will not discuss philosophy, politics, or anything of that nature because it is a turn off for most. When in a new relationship I have to pretend to care less because that drives girls crazy for some reason.

I know that this will offend some of you but it is simply true for a high percentage of girls. "Treat them like dirt and they stick like mud" was a saying me and my friends had in high school. You logically, rationally want this intelligent guy, but when you meet him you turn him into your best friend. And he is like your brother.... you could never date him.

I don't like it. You don't like it.... But a guy acting like a testosterone raged gut choice moron is what gets you going. What makes you want him. It is natural. Just like the guys that do have empathy and intelligence hiding it order to appear more masculine is natural.
