If they think it's their religious duty, I won't get mad, they've gotta do what they've gotta do, I'll respectfully listen (unless you're knocking at my door, then I'll turn you away).

Saying "screw you" to them, "this is a free country!" I don't know how someone could force their lifestyle on anyone in the US. They could try, but I'd just call the cops on them for harassment, you know, after the first few times I kindly ask them to go away and leave me alone. If they persist and/or look like they might get physical, then I call the cops

I'm polite at first and if that doesn't work I just put distance between that person and myself. Who needs someone in their life who feels they need to change you just so you'll fit into theirs.
