Nope.
I'm a Paratrooper.
One of the things you MUST be able to do to even attend the school is to equalize the pressure in your ears. (pop your ears)

If you can't, jumping is excruciating...
(Also never jump with impacted sinuses....OW!)

That usually helps, but the last time I flew, nothing worked. A very miserable flight.

A friend who flies frequently shared that taking a decongestant/pain reliever helps ..and it does.

I've had it happen a couple of times. One time it ruined by vacation. I was dizzy and in pain for about three days.

YES!!!!!! One time one of my ears didn't pop back open until about 5 days later. My ENT told me to use nasal spray before flying, and that helped a great deal.

Very. I had a reoccuring sinus staff infection for over year and a half, and I'd have to make business trips during that time - getting on a plane was miserable. After I had the sinus surgery, using the nasal spray and the allergy med before take off was a huge help.

My biggest problem with flying is that i quit drinking 20 years ago ..........that was the only way i could fly ! I don't do ferris wheels ,roller coasters , or bungee jumping either.
