The Universe is Huge. There are at least one hundred billion Galaxies in the observable Universe and each Galaxy contains around hundred billion Stars. Milky Way have many billions of solar systems. Also, there are organics in space...
With knowledge comes wisdom and with logic comes understanding. To believe in superstitions or mythology written by the men of past is childish. But it is understandable, because Humanity is just a child, that still believe in own Santa in the face of religions and superstitions...
And yes, Human life is short, but existence of Humanity can be eternity, especially if we will get to the stars, when we brake out of our place of birth - Earth. ;-)lol)
Yeah. About the same for me. People never think that the definition of religion and superstition are the same. When people would ask me about religion in school I would just say that I wasn't superstitious.
8 mom came out and told me i didnt have alot of presents b/c she didnt have enough money and i said what bout santa? she just made a face and walked away
I stopped believing in Santa when my step-brother pointed out the "To" and "From" parts on the gift labels. He was like, "None of 'em say From Santa. They say to you from Mom and Grandmother, and Daddy!" I was 6.

I was a very smart little girl. Probably even more smart then I am now. I kind of thought of the logic of a fat man going down a chimney.... it was kind of simple once I put it all together. With my parents always waiting down in the basement so that they could put the presents under the tree.
my dad took me out of the house, i guess to distract me, and then we came home a little too early and I walk in the living room and my mom is packing the barbie I wanted for a really long time :(
i was crushed haha.
When I discovered the Easter Bunny forgot to put out Easter eggs my parents admitted he wasn't real then that got me thinking Santa wasn't real either.
The spirit of Santa lives on forever! My enthusiasm has matured some. There are responsibilities and the original reason for the Holiday is primary, but every Christmas carol, every string of lights is all done with the childlike love that will never leave my heart.
