Well, I didn't exactly move out voluntarily. My Dad had had enough of his 26 year old crack smoking sorry excuse for a son, and threw me out, almost had to call the cops! God, I was a P.O.S.!!

I moved out when I came to the states for university.

I was 17, and left my family home in Italy to go to school in upstate New York -- Cornell University. I lived on campus and would go home with friends on holiday. I moved into an apartment when I was 19, along with four other girls in our third year at university. That was my first home independent of my family home.

I'll be moving to L.A. to live on campus in September. I'll still have a room and plenty of stuff at my parents' house though. But this will be the first time I'll be living somewhere else other than my parents' house for an extended period of time...
