When a person posts a question and music plays automatically, how can that be turned off? I posted a song and I couldn't hear it or anyones music because of the music that was already there.

scroll up to the video and hit the pause "ll" button - I wish autoplay werent invented

The annoying thing is that most youtube video adds are defaulted to not play automatically. The person posting the video purposely selects it to be autoplay, just to be a pest.

It's very frustrating..... and extremely annoying.... I did a party post ... and someone posted a song that would not turn off.... I couldn't hear anything.... I turned my speakers off so I could answer the replies..... not fun....!!

I know autoplays annoy me too,some you can stop by clicking the small square in the bottom left hand corner of the screen

Thanks, usually they don't bother me, but this question was about posting a song, I couldn't hear what I was posting let alone others songs.

I haven't run into that problem yet.

I believe I'd decide to not comment at all, if I couldn't stop their auto play to post my own video/song.

So annoying, the autoplay.

Unfortunately, hitting pause only stops the playback. It does not stop the download. Therefore the autoplay item is still wasting your bandwidth. For those with unlimited bandwidth this is not an issue, but many people pay extra when they exceed their allotted bandwidth and so these autoplay items are costing them extra.
When I encounter something like this, I just close the tab and move on to something else.
