I’ll just laugh, sometimes I’ll also just say “okay…” or “sure…” while laughing…but mostly it’s just a laugh.

Just come straight out and tell them. That would probably stick it to them the most so they probably wouldn't do it again, or they might try a different approach, but most likely with me, it would wind up with the same results.
