    Groundbreaking story telling.
Fantastic actors allowed to do what they do best. Corking pace. It was almost like a filmed play.

Great actors, great soundtrack, and the fact that you can cover your eyes while the cop is getting his ear sliced off. Even though it's never shown.

Actually, I can't stand Tarantino. The only reason anyone watches his films is for the shock factor. Some people are fascinated by grossness.

    I just said that.

I am fairly certain I don't have a favorite. I find his movies juvenile and silly, but it's a guy thing right?

Good LORD - you are making my personal comment into a political comment?

What's up with that? Can I not have an opinion that doesn't happen to meld with yours?

    "It's a guy thing."

Doesn't mean tomboys can't like Tarantino movies. It's kind of obvious by the answers you have here.

What it means is that I don't 'get' the movies. I'm not a guy and obvious not a huge 'tomboy'.

Did I really manage to illicit such spleen by an innocuous comment?

As far as being a yank... I was born in Reno. Neither a north or south state. I've lived as many years out of the north as I have in, so what does that have to do with it?

I am* retired Navy and am very sure I don't have a problem with any folks, in general, be they tomboys, men or women.

If I find them (the movies) juvenile... That isn't calling them immature, dear, it's merely I'm not into the blood and gore and/or gratuitous violence.

Having been around long enough and rubbed shoulders and various other parts with men, I think I can safely say Tarantino movies are not made for my particular demographic. They speak to men, primarily. That said, it doesn't mean some women would find them attractive if not interesting.

    So.

Any more things to lay on me? More insults perhaps? More criticism for an opinion?
    *missed word fix

I've found more rude folks in NYC and CA. Up here in my neck of the NYS woods, we are mostly congenial.
