Oh, I'd have to say it's a tie between Mario and Donkey Kong. Oh, all the enjoyments and frustrations tied up in just one game, classic.

Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2! Those games not only had great graphics (or as good as snes graphics could get) but the music was absolutely beautiful too.

Tough call. I grew up when "Pong" came out and Atari was king and Donkey Kong was on a hand held player. I miss Centipede. Space Invaders, Pac-man, Ms Pac-man, Frogger, Q-bert and many more.
