A guy a couple streets away I used to know owned an early 70's flatbed Dodge pickup that had a tray made of wood planks. It was an absolute beast.
The Silverado aesthetically looks more like an Australian Ute mixed with a Japanese Nissan ute / Totota Landcruiser than a pickup.
