  People forget that they can set up TIMERS to go off and take the pic for them.
  Or have someone else take the picture for you.
  I have but one mirror pic which is my profile pic, but in my defense, I wanted the photo to show the antique mirror and crowd behind me so it looked like the world inside of a picture frame. It's ok to do it for art, but notice I'm not duckfaced!!

  At least when guys do it, someone's liable to point out they're full of themselves often enough to keep them in check. When girls do it, there's no such check...and so it gets totally out of control. ;)

  Depends on the subject really.
  For the most part, all women (well girls really) of my generation do this, but with the men, for the most part only the more attractive ones tend to do this.
  I'd rather look at an attractive man, than dozen fat girls trying to look seductive.
  Likewise, I'd rather look at the one attractive woman then a dozen fat guys.
