That is my solution to a vast majority of cleaning out...lol... In the car if I hear a problem my quick fix is to turn up the radio. ;-)

Oh man....I have a recurring dream that the bombs have fallen and I cant find a geiger counter. I cant find the one at work in my dream. Maybe I can convince my nocturnal self to go to your house!

My dad was at 2 tests at Nevada test site and I have all his trainging manuals on nuclear warfare . Got a hot suit and portable decontamination shower also . He built our house with lead sheets covering the floor overtop the basement and a 6000 gallon fresh water supply with activated charcoal air intake filters , also had 2 years of canned food which he rotated back into a friends grocery store every year . It was hell being prepaired .

Better safe than sorry though. Have you seen Nightbreaker? Was that the testing your dad was there for? I was loored when I saw that movie. I said "Mom why are they saying all this?". She said "Baby that HAPPENED.". All I could do was cry.

Dad was the for "teapot"and "upshot" he never suffered any downrange exposure except his face got a slight burn on the first shot from critical mass flash.

A lot of men were exposed but they seemed to take care of officers , but all the people up in Utah were exposed that caused many many cancers .
