Dreams of flying are among the most common dreams, along with falling and losing teeth. They're certainly the most enjoyable of the three. For some people, flight is more than a dream. Pilots, adrenaline junkies, and inventors have all had occasion to defy gravity and take to the skies. But we wanted to ask the public about extreme flights of fancy -- superpowers and jetpacks, flying pigs and floating food. Be sure to take our 6-question Quick Poll to fill out the entire survey. Oh, and don't try any of this at home!

There was a case where a the captain of a Japanese fishing boat claimed that, out of a blue sky, a cow fell onto and sunk his boat, authorities were opting to certify him until a report came out of Russia that some (drunken) military types (a given there) coaxed a cow onto a transport plane and when aloft, the bovine went bezerk and in a effort to avoid putting the plane into a spin they pushed it out the back hatch at 15,000 feet.

Sadly, I have little trouble believing that.
I have flown crew on U.S. military aircraft and what happens aloft stays aloft...

The Soviets/Ruskies have had a serious alcoholism problem probably since Stalin (can't blame them). When in CAF Militia back in 1980, was told that their pilots would report icing conditions and then drink the de-icing fluid when they landed. Until recently, they only had 500ml size bottles of vodka with a throw-away cap as it was assumed it would be drunk in one session.

I am not surprised the cow went berserk when (she?) began to get wind of her intended fate. They may be slow but self-preservation is a powerful instinct. Just one reason to find another protein source. Sadly as usual the cow was powerless to save itself.
The blood rain is the most unusual and unexplained of those you link ("...a sign from God"..? Sure. OK.. So, prove him wrong. Right?) But they all shed light on some stories recorded from biblical times. And oddly most (with the exception of the cow) defy rational explanation.
I have worked with W.W. II USN vets who told me they drank avgas on carriers when at sea. They would of course not have been alive to tell me that if it were true but actually were doing something almost as dangerous. The ethanol used in the water /ethanol injection tanks installed in large military piston-engine combat aircraft was the denatured variety. Sure it would get you drunk like a good screwdriver but the hangover might well include permanent blindness and /or brain damage from the methanol preservative added as the "denaturing" ingredient. Not smart.

Just picked up an 'Epoch Times' (Vancouver Edition, Aug. 16-22/12) today, an article within about Red Rain in Indian mentioned that cell-like vesicles but without DNA was found in it. This bolsters the Hoyle/Wickramasinghe
(Anaxagoras too, et alia) Panspermia/Exogenesis Hypothesis (q.v.).

Seen footage of a Great White getting airtime, great theme tune
(similar to "Jaw's" 'dinner music') would be what's in Star Trek - OS'
    "Doomsday Machine".

Their close relatives have no trouble jumping between the sides of sheer cliffs, the situation you mentioned would be a cinch.

Yep and when these guys get loose from then field we keep them in, they head straight for the rockier areas of the ranch.!! Rotten little critters. It took over a week to round them all up, even with the help of the border collies attempting to herd them.
