    I'm not allowed to die my hair. In theory, now that I'm in college, I should be able to do whatever I want but...I'd rather not piss off the people paying the bills.

    The closest I've ever come to dying my hair was putting blonde "peek-a-boos" (that's what the hairdresser called them) in my hair. But I'm getting my hair dyed like this soon. ive dying hair blonde peek-a-boos hairdresser hair hair dyed

    I've dyed my hair every color in the rainbow and then some lol. Right now my hair is blue-black on top and plum-purple underneath.

    it came out kind of gray, and it was wash out hairdye so i just washed it out quickly.
    apart from that, i've always kept my hair my natural blonde.

    I used toxic green and pure black, plus colored extensions. that is all I do to my hair though

    i didn't really dye it yet except for red one time, it washed right out. my hair is too frizzy/curly to dye it funky colors, but if i had the right hair i would go for blue with white streaks maybe :D

    I don't think dyed hair is crazy in the first place. People put on clothes that aren't flesh-colored, wear shoes that are colors different than that of their feet, tattoo their skin different colors, etc. Not a big deal.
    I have black hair with purple hilites in it. I love it.

    My hair is purple right now. Used Manic Panic... wow this fades fast!!! O_O I have to dye it back to my origonal color anyways. I have an audition in February. But it'll be fun while it lasts. :)

    i know.. this girl in my class has dyed her hair...alot an her hair looks like Crap!!!! plus the highlights in my hair are natural.. from the sun an the pool! :)

    Going out of your way to stand out and draw undue attention to yourself, I wouldn't say is wrong, but isn't good. Just my opinion. You only get one chance to make a first impression. In my line of work, you MUST give a good impression or you won't get to work much. I work mostly with the elderly and if they feel put off by me, the won't request my services anymore. You have to present yourself in a way that others see as proffessional, regardless of how you really are.

    Oh I totally agree with that. I guess I feel like there nothing wrong with it while you're a kid in school, but once you get out into the real world and have a professional life...that's when things need to change.

    Very true. When you're in school is the time to do silly things. I just get aggrivated when I see people in there late teen and early 20s who are still piercing all parts of their body, dying their hair, getting tattoos that can't be covered up. I won't and can't hire folks like that.
