my naturally (undyed) brown hair gets these brassy red-and-yellow-and-gold tones when in direct light, strong light, or sunlight. I hate it passionately, it make my hair look dull and dry and parched and fried and tired, and i've been struggling with the brassiness for years. I've tried dozens of moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, but with no luck. i've tried anti-brassiness shampoos and treatments, but they didn't work. I use leave in conditioner and wear a hat and try to stay out of the sun, i eat healthy with lots of omega-3s in my diet, but my hair is STILL brassy. And I'm sick of it. does anyone know what I can do to get rid of the brass?

There's a couple of different brands of the shampoo, but it'll protect your brown from the sunlight that bleaches it out.
You should be able to get it from Amazon. Its trial and error until you find a product that works unfortunately if you don't want to dye it. Next time you see your stylist ask them for advice. I'm a trained stylist but its hard to advise you more than I have when I don't have you in front of me to see what your hair is like.
So you use shampoo and conditioner for dry hair and it doesn't help? Do you have naturally thick hair? Do you wash it every day?
i use Avon Advanced Techniques Damage repair, and my hair is actually pretty thin, i wash it every other day
