Wash your face with soap. None of that other junk works. If you're a teenager, they will try to sell you all this crap to clear up your face. What they don't want you to know is pimples are a natural phenomena in many teenagers. It's a part of growing up. I had them as a teenager, but when I got older, the pimples completely went away. It has to do with hormones. Acne is a skin problem that affects almost all teenagers. The condition results from the action of hormones on the skin's oil glands (sebaceous glands). The sebaceous glands make an oily substance called sebum that empties onto the skin surface through the hair follicle opening (pore). The mixture of oil and cells allows bacteria that normally live on the skin to grow in the follicle openings. When this happens, pores become clogged and pimples develop.

Nine times out of ten, acne will disappear as a person ages. It's rare to have acne when you're in your twenties, thirties or older. All that stuff they sell to teenagers is a joke. It simply makes a lot of money off of teenager's desire to have skin that looks like the young people they see in the movies and on television. However, what teenagers are never told is that many of those actors on the television and in the movies are much older than they are. The actors only play the part of a younger person. For example, if you want to check out what I mean, just check out the age of Ralph Macchio who played Daniel in Karate Kid. He wasn't even close to the age of the character he was playing. He's ten years older than I am, and I'm forty-one years old. No wonder his skin was clear, and he looked that good in the movie. Still, a lot of teenagers at the time the movie came out thought he was another teenager himself. In the end, it's really very sad that the entertainment industry sells a certain image to teenagers, women and other people. The media tells us lies day and night. It's just a matter if we'll ever wake up to the illusions it sells to the public--the likes of which can damage people's self-image.

Try a paste of baking soda and water. Gently cleanse with it and rinse
thoroughly. Try not to touch you face more than necessary between
    washings.
