    A pound of feathers is still a pound, just takes more feathers than rocks. Pound is unit of measure, therefore it is the same regardless of what is being weighed.

    They both weigh the same but have different density (the mass is concentrated in a smaller space). Which would you rather get hit with, a pound of rocks going 5 miles an hour or a pound of feathers going the same speed?

    Yep I've seen "corset training" to get a tiny waist and it does squash up the internal organs.It was a problem in Victorian times when women really did faint easily cos they could barely breathe.
    A bit too extreme for me .
