Let''s see this weekend, I floated my boat a lot. I did what I wanted to do, without worrying what others thought. I had lots of fun while doing it as well. :) so what ever you want that will make you happy. ~Hope you had some time to float your boat this weekend too!

I'm all for people doing whatever makes them happy as long as they consider other people. We all have the right to be content and satisfied in our own skin and no one has the right to say it's 'wrong'

'Whatever floats your boat' means whatever you want, whatever you like to do, what you like is what you like and they accept that. Stuff like that.

Well, I've heard it goes "Whatever Floats Your Boat".
I believe it's a way of saying "whatever suits you". As in, just believe what you want to believe. Do what you want to do.

When people say this, they mean that you should do whatever makes you happy. It comes the "Age of Sail", when ships or boats were dependent on the High Tide to go out to sea. Without the higher water levels that came with the incoming tide, many a boat wouldn't float. They would be literally stuck in the mud of the harbor.

Just means "Whatever works for you". There's alot of different ones. Whatever bounces your ball, whatever trips your trigger, and many more.
