What Would You Do With 450,000 Staples?

If someone gave us 450,000 staples, we'd probably think it was a lame prank and then immediately try to sell them in bulk for a profit. But alas, we're no artist. And we're certainly no Baptiste Debombourg -- because he's the guy who took 450,000 staples and made a mural out of it.

The larger-than-life mural lives at the Karlin Studio in Prague, which the French artist says is the main reason he used staples as his material-of-choice to begin with. "My sculptural work is generally part of a contextual approach, and I operate in a space with materials chosen specially for it," Debombourg says on his website. This whole "staple art" makes us curious: what would you do if someone gave you 450,000 staples?

    Sorry, my humor again. 450,000 staples not lasting very long reminded me of changing diapers. They don`t last long either. A friend came up with the idea of leg holes in an upside down umbrela. Just plop the kid in and when its full, dump it and plop the kid back in. Or, his othe idea was a trash bag w/leg holes. When full, change bags. Now I think thats just being lazy. All seriousness aside, I can`t even imagine using that many staples in 2 or 3 lifetimes.
