What would you do if you saw someone trowing trash everywhere

Wait for cops to arrive, watch them get busted and laugh

I'd ask them to stop

Cmon batman you know and i know you can teach them a lesson

walk away and mind my own business...this stuff happens all the time and your action wont make an impact :{

ever heard of the starfish story?

i wanna hear it :)

a storm disrupted a coral reef and caused all the starfish to be washed upon the shore. For miles as far as the eye could see, starfish were beached...drying out.

An old man walking along picked up one and tossed it back into the ocean...then another and another.

A younger man looked at all the thousands upon thousands of starfish and saw this as futile. He asked the older gentlemen

"what are you trying to do?"

"I'm trying to save the starfish. If they stay on the beach, they'll dry out and die."

"but there are thousands for miles...surely what you are doing won't make a difference."

the old man picked up another starfish and tossed it in the ocean.

"I made a difference to that one."

i really enjoyed that story i gonna remember that one
and pass the wisdom on to others

tell them to stop. There are laws against littering, and if they don't stop and clean it up, I'll let the law take over.

thats so rad i really loved that show growing up i believe it aided in making me the environmental i am today. i think they should play more shows like that that promote
literacy,education,Eco friendly morals we have enough trash on the planet and too much on tv

It depends on where it is happening. I'd want to call the police. But, if it's away from town they wouldn't be able to get to the site in time. I guess the best thing would be to take down their license plate and get as good a description as possible of the person or people and their vehicle. Report it for sure - so that hopefully the officials can maybe check the trash to see if there is possibly something in the trash with their name or address on it.

I would go pick it up. I pick up trash all the time. When I go camping I pick up all the trash I can find.

thats so good i do the same everywhere i go i have a bunch of trash bags in my backpack so in a walk through town i can load up like 2 bags its sad that alot of people dont care about the natural beauty of the environment we once had and dont wish to recreate it

That's awesome. When I go camping we make a point to fill at least on big black garbage bag with trash that was not ours. I live in a semi rural area. When we go for walk I always pick up trash. I think most of it is dropped my the garbage man when pick up the cans.

oh yeah my dad lives out in the high deserts and that usually where the trash comes from the dumpsters im amazed at what i pick up sometime lol dirty people lol
city folks just trow it all over the place out their cars the other day i saw a big van full of people and all the sudden i had a big del taco bag full of trash,food and ciggaret butts at my feet and i was utterly appalled im glad to know that there is people out there who still care and do their part to help the environment we only get one right?

I would take down their license number and report them.

First of all, they will be fined if an officer sees them doing this and some fines are very heavy.

Saw a lady in the parking lot the other day she opened her car door and out fell a bunch of garbage a couple of coke cups- papers etc from McD's.

I said to her "Mam you droped some stuff on the ground" She ignored me and went into the mall. So I picked the stuff up and covered her windshield with it holding it down with her wiper blades. I then saw the mall security guy and told him what had happened.

You can guess what happened next. I just wish I had a camera at the time.

The guard got a couple of other guards and they watched her come out. Get angry and throw the papers on the ground etc. When approached by the guards AND a city policeman she ranted that some had vandalized her car with the trash and she wasn't going to pick it up.

Wrong thing to say.

They arrested her on the spot for littering and refusing the direction of a police person. Then they towed her car :).

Moral to the story, if you screw up, pick it up. Master card may cover the costs but the look on her face when she was arrested was priceless.
