What Would You Call This? (Please be Open-Minded)

So....this boy I've known since 6th grade and I have flings. He moved 3 hours away at the end of elementry and all we've done was be best friends for awhile. Now he and I are both doing great academically, he is a varsity football player and me a varsity volleyball player. But last 2 years he and I always....I don't know how to explain it but we'd "act as if we were together", but nothing too much (you know it's saved for marriage). He would come back and visit me for a week and we would hang out. Swimming, eating, hugging, going to the fair/carnival, whatever we would do. We even have 4 songs to describe our relationship to each other. Now he's going to visit me at the fair and he's planning something...um, cute? :) I know we are young but I feel stupid about blurting such things out. :) It's like everything is intimate or done in a "past life", anything to with him makes me giddy/happy/fluster/flutter/beautiful/whatever! This is the first boy I ever had strong feelings for ~ :p It confuses me but it doesn't mess with my priorities, like school....
