What would be your choice for dinner....Roast Beef or Prime Rib? It would be served with mashed potatoes and veggies too! LOL

Roast beef should go with roast potatoes not mash, with lots of lovely veg, or should that be with lots of lovely roast potatoes? :))

No meat for me. Too jacked up with antibodies and steroids. I'd rather eat healthy... balancing out my drinking.

I hit the wrong answer.I prefer to have just the mashed potatoes and veggies. If I had to choose a meat I would give it to someone who has a big appetite,so they can have seconds.

Medium Rare, I'll skip the horseradish sauce, just pass me the sat and pepper.
And I'll pour a hearty red wine to go with it.

Prime Rib, medium rare. But I'd substitute a baked potato for the mashed. Let's do it right.

prime rib medium rare substitute baked potato mashed prime rib and baked potato

Like that's even a choice. Anyone who has ever had prime rib should know that it is clearly superior to mere roast beef.

Oooh,it has been so long since I've had good prime rib! Now roast beef? If you could bring back my mother and ask her to cook it, that would be nice. Putting aside the obvious "wish my mom was here" sentiment, as between prime rib and roast beef, if Mom were to prepare it for me today, I would actually select the roast beef. She made the absolutely most delicious roast beef -- not overdone, not raw -- and her mashed potatoes and gravy were to die for. And then succotash with some cole slaw on the side. God, that was hard to beat, I kid you not. Oh, and she made wonderful pies, all from scratch. Her apple pie was never to be duplicated in all these years that I've been hunting. But she made a fantastic cottage cheese pie (not a thing like you'd think) and coconut cream pie. Ohhh, I think I've just gained 5 pounds just thinking about it!

I am different in a way and think that the dinner must be light or must be taken as earlier as possible only to lessen the fullness of the stomach, indigestion and discomfort. and also if you have a diabetes than never take water while eating but drink only after about lapse of 6 to 7 hours.I myself eat regularly at 6pm and carry on my profession of dentistry and by the time I am in bed I am very comfortable and pass on to deep sleep in seconds and that too like a log of wood! I sleep by 12 or 12.30 night having completed with SH/FB/Google etc.
